Student transportation generates an enormous amount of daily data spanning vehicle locations, driver behavior, route performance, maintenance needs, compliance records, parent communications, etc. Most of that data sits in disconnected systems. Catalyst pulls it into a single operational layer that Summit’s teams and district partners can actually use.

The platform handles real-time GPS tracking through BusZone, fleet monitoring and driver coaching , dispatch, payroll, scheduling, and transportation management. It also manages onboard video, electronic vehicle inspections, child check systems, route optimization and performance reporting.

For districts, it means one connected view of their entire transportation program. For families, it means knowing where the bus is and when it will arrive. For drivers, it means clear route guidance and near-real-time support from dispatch. For Summit, it means the ability to enforce consistent standards across 18,000+ vehicles.
