Who we hire
Bus drivers
Paid CDL training available. Local routes in your community. A schedule built around the school day, with charter and field trip opportunities for additional hours.
Technicians and mechanics
Maintain a fleet of vehicles using electronic inspection platforms and structured preventative maintenance programs. Diesel, electrical and HVAC experience valued.
Dispatchers and schedulers
Manage daily operations through ByteCurve, Summit’s dispatch and scheduling platform. Coordinate drivers, routes and real-time changes to keep service running smoothly.
Operations and management
Site-level and regional leadership roles for experienced transportation professionals. Manage teams, district partnerships and performance outcomes across local operations.
Paid training and ongoing development
New drivers complete a structured pre-service program covering defensive driving, student behavior management, emergency response and vehicle inspection before they transport a single student.
Once on the road, Samsara’s real-time monitoring creates coaching opportunities that keep drivers improving throughout their careers. Technicians receive ongoing certification training aligned to national fleet maintenance standards. Leadership development paths exist for employees who want to grow into supervisory and management roles.
