Sustainable transportation that works
We help districts achieve their sustainability goals through practical fleet strategies that improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and support long-term performance. From electrification and alternative fuels to disciplined asset management, our approach is built for real-world operations and lasting results.
Fleet Strategy - A Balanced, Multi-Fuel Fleet
We offer a flexible approach to fleet composition so districts can adopt the right solution for their operating needs. In addition to using gasoline as an option, we also use clean diesel which provides proven reliability on existing infrastructure. Propane delivers lower emissions with reduced fuel and maintenance costs. Electric vehicles offer zero tailpipe emissions and compelling long-term cost advantages. Across all four, we ensure operational stability today while enabling a responsible transition toward lower-emission technology over time.
Electrification - Deployment Strategy
We deploy EVs where they deliver clear operational and financial value — evaluating route characteristics, climate conditions, total cost of ownership, facility readiness, and available funding before recommending deployment. We offer electrification-as-a-service models that reduce upfront capital, provide turnkey deployment, and create shared-risk investment structures. We manage the complexity of infrastructure planning and implementation so districts can stay focused on safely transporting students every day.
Asset Management - Lifecycle Optimization
Sustainability means maximizing the value of every asset, not just deploying new technology. We right-size fleets, cascade vehicles to extend useful life, and manage end-of-life disposition through resale and repurposing. We also monitor and reduce idle time fleet-wide using telematics — lowering fuel consumption and emissions without new capital investment.
Resource Efficiency - Parts Reclamation Centers
At our Parts Reclamation Centers, end-of-life and surplus vehicles are carefully dismantled so usable components can be inspected, refurbished, and redeployed across our fleet – reducing waste and lowering demand for new manufacturing.
But we don’t simply retire vehicles. When a vehicle still has road life remaining, we donate it to local community organizations to support transportation needs. When it has truly reached end of life, we partner with local fire departments, donating vehicles for lifesaving extraction training. These partnerships help first responders gain critical real-world experience while ensuring every vehicle delivers value for as long as possible.
Our commitment
Sustainability is a long-term commitment — not a single technology decision. By combining innovation with operational discipline, we ensure every step delivers real value for the districts, students, and communities we are proud to serve. Reach out today to learn more.
