Steffany Cunningham serves as SVP, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Summit School Services. She joined the company in 2019 and serves as chief legal adviser to the CEO, CFO, COO, CHRO and senior leadership.
With more than 25 years of experience, Steffany has guided complex corporate transactions, labor strategies, and regulatory initiatives in private equity–backed, multinational, and publicly traded environments. She has played a central role in M&A transactions, organizational transformations, and the development of scalable legal and compliance frameworks.
Prior to joining Summit, Steffany held senior legal roles at DirectBuy, Inc., and The Walt Disney Company, where she supported large-scale real estate and compliance operations. She also has prior experience in financial services and real estate with The Northern Trust Company.
She earned her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law and her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University.
