With more than three decades of executive leadership experience in transportation, logistics and large-scale operations, Tim Wertner serves as Chief Executive Officer of Summit School Services, a role he assumed in 2023. He brings expertise in operational excellence, strategic growth, network optimization, risk management and profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
Known for his hands-on leadership style, Tim has built high-performing teams, strengthened customer partnerships and led initiatives that drive operational efficiency, service excellence and growth.
Before joining Summit School Services, formerly National Express, Tim spent more than 30 years with FedEx, where he held senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations, Western Division, and Senior Vice President of U.S. Air, Ground, and Freight Services.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of La Verne and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
