West Jefferson Hills School District Extends 60+ Year Partnership with Matthews Bus Company for Additional Six Years

Recognizes Matthews Bus Team for Hard Work and Dedication Throughout the Years

Jefferson Hills, PA – The West Jefferson Hills School District and Matthews Bus Company are celebrating their 60+ year partnership by sharing news of their six-year contract extension through 2032 – marking another milestone in their decades-long partnership.

With this partnership extension, the team will continue to run 60 routes for the school district, including regular education, special education, and extended school year services.

In addition to trusted technology solutions such as Zonar for GPS tracking and stop-arm equipment, the Matthews Bus fleet will now become equipped with Samara, an industry-leading, cloud-based technology platform. This advanced software features intelligent dual-facing cameras with high-definition video and sound capabilities that help to improve driver safety, increase responsiveness, and further enhance the reliable, excellent service the team is known for.

Beyond student transportation, Matthews Bus also prides itself on being a community partner through its Partners Beyond the Bus community outreach program and has proudly hosted an annual holiday food drive for Olivet Presbyterian Church and donated school supplies for their local elementary schools.
